Trinity students registered in Hartford all vote in the same polling location at the Commons Building at Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy (HMTCA) located at the corner of Broad Street and Vernon Street.

Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Voters who are in line before 8 p.m. will be able to vote, even after the deadline passes.

Connecticut offers Election Day registration, but those who arrive need to be registered by 8 p.m. in order to vote. Unlike previously registered voters standing in line before 8 p.m., registering to vote at 8 p.m. won’t guarantee the ability to vote.  This does not apply for a primary, only the general election in November.

In Connecticut, no excuse Mail-In  and absentee ballots are also available for those who are concerned about COVID-19 and voting in person, won’t be in town on election day, or for a multitude of other reasons. Voters can also register online prior to the election.
